The product is decent working but doesnt match with the specifications shown.The processor is 3ghz and not 4.1ghz and the screen resolution is 1366 x 768 only and no HDR is there.The display of laptop is not upto mark i feel.

What a hassle!!!!
Purchased in June. Got the lemon! Major headache with support. Up to 3 hours before HP deciding to ship to HP for repairs. Reboxed ,shipped back. Brand new computer out of my possession for weeks! Received “repaired” computer and it would not power on. Rather than shipping back again, decided to return item. Prosale refused my request for return as 30 days was up, even though the majority of the time it was being serviced and not with me! Please note it does not have lit keyboard, as advertised. happy to say amazon honored refund , however still waiting for refund. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare! Would have been great for me, had it worked properly. I know everything we buy can be “off “and I certainly got the “off” computer! even bought an extended warranty on a device, I dont own!

If you can get past the no disk drive, (which I thought was weird) it really is amazing. It loads extremely fast and run so smoothly. I love the hp brand and this laptop didn’t disappoint. I am very happy with this purchase.

The computer does not come with a back-lit keyboard
The computer is incorrectly advertised as having a back-lit keyboard. It does not have a back-lit keyboard. I had to return it due to this. If it wasn’t for that, the computer was really nice. I hated to return it but I work in the dark so must have a backlit keyboard.

I am not happy with this laptop!
First, it doesn’t have a touch screen.Then, the power button is buried within the top row of keys above the backspace key.The shutdown/restart icon is practically hidden in the bottom corner of the settings screen, and it’s very tiny.When I’m typing, the cursor randomly jumps around, and I end up adding text into the middle of previously typed text. To stop this, I had to disable my touch pad and use an external mouse.Then once when I was working, I suddenly got a message that something went wrong with the device and it was shutting down and rebooting. Instead of doing that, it gave me a second message to install an operating system. What?? Now this message continues to randomly appear from time to time, causing me to have to reboot in the middle of what I’m working on.It does reboot with no problem except a loss of some text.My previous HP was great, but after 1 week of ownership, I am very disappointed with this one.Edit: I’ve now owned and wrestled with this laptop for close to a year, and I hate it. All of the problems remain. I should have returned it, but I haven’t gotten around to it. Also, I have so much info on it now that clearing it and returning it isn’t something I’m looking forward to.

Keyboard backlight option is missing
This laptop does not have a keyboard backlight option ON/Off as F5 does not showed anything. It is tough to work with the kaypad with dim light or almost impossible. Somehow I didn’t checked that before I purchased this one. I’m not sure if how to turn on with some different setting with this or may be this laptop does not have that option and company support can help me on this.

A good product at a reasonable price.
It took a little time to figure out Windows 11 on my new laptop after using Windows 10 on my PC but I am starting to understand it now. The laptop has only been in use for 1 month but seems to be everything I wanted in a computer. I do recommend it. A good product for a reasonable price.

Do NOT go by picture when ordering!
I ordered this laptop because it shows a CD drive, which it does NOT HAVE. Also on the finger-pad it shows the 2 left & right buttons on the bottom. This does not have those either! Although, so far the laptop is performing okay….. I was very disappointed in the two missing items shown in the picture of the listing!

Not recommended for huge workload
This is a Good laptop for students who will only use it for online classes and submitting assignments. I will not recommend this laptop for gaming. Also, wifi does not automatically connect when you restart the computer. Then you open more than two apps this laptop will disgrace by randomly freezing. it humiliated me one day during a zoom presentation. You will cry when you open more than 6 tabs on chrome…lol

Piece of junk, stopped working after a yr. 3 month into use, it wont automatically connect to Wi-Fi. I have to power down and restart every single time. Never buying HP again!!! wasted my money on a piece of junk!

Be Careful when you purchase
I purchased this to use to run my online shop. I needed a good working computer with lots of hard drive space for photos, and I needed a backlit keyboard because I have to do my work in a room that is fairly dark and the light on the keyboard helps. I ordered a backlit keyboard, but I didnt GET a backlit keyboard. I tried to do a return, but the replacement they sent me did not have a backlit keyboard. Contact with the seller told me that this is a mix up between them and Amazon and that both backlit and regular keyboards were shipped with no identifying marks, so no one knew what was in which boxes. The whole thing blew up into a headache that I didn’t want to deal with, so I settled for taking the first one I was sent. It’s not what I wanted, but it IS what I settled for. Seller DID agree to a $30 refund for the error. Still…not a good experience. Amazon’s Customer support only made it worse.

AN EXCELLENT OPTION AND VALUE FOR A HOME USE PERSONAL COMPUTER WITH MODERN FEATURES
In many ways, I am still getting used to the laptop and it’s system. Though I do not believe the S Mode option for Windows 11 will likely work out for long-term for many individuals, I think that the laptop is truly an excellent value; and has valuable features that streamline everything one would potentially be concerned with; and provides in-system support from the manufacturer HP. I gave up the S Mode because of a personal need for software that I was used to; and made adjustments to my system as to virus protection accordingly. Of final note, a primary reason why the value of this purchase was great in many ways is because the same came in a form in which it had been upgraded with special features such as additional RAM; and had been inspected as well as tested by a reputable and good-faith third-party seller. I one hundred percent recommend this laptop to all seeking an outstanding computer for personal use with great power and performance.

NO backlit keyboard!
Only had it since yesterday. Seems to be a decent laptop, however, I chose this one for the backlit keyboard and it doesn’t have one. This is a 4th computer in the household to be used in my room mainly at night, so that feature was important to me. Also, as another reviewer posted, I was told I would have to sign for it. At least she got a doorbell ring. Mine was left on the side of the house ~ not even a ring. Good thing I was home and tracked it right to the house.

Money for value is great item for older folks or people who have bad vision and need a larger screen. Especially, folks who does not need the computer for Microsoft Office or high need of storage space and RAM Resources.

Update to windows 11 make no operqtional Wi-Fi
overall the laptop is just fine but I got a issue with the Wi-Fi after the system upgraded itself to windows 11 that needed support from HP support. The support sent me a link to download a driver but I need to spend around 2 hours and I little knowledge of I was doing

Great, but overheats a lot
I mostly use this computer to write and watch youtube. Occasionally I will play games on it, but I’ve got better computers for that.My biggest complaint about this is that it is very poorly vented. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve picked it up and found it warm to the touch, and open the screen to seen a blue square that says “Boot device not found.”It has only one vent to the outside world, and that’s underneath the computer… where it sits against legs, and is placed on surfaces… like the couch I sit on.It works well for what I use it for, and I don’t need it to do a lot. It’s not overly powerful, but I don’t need it to be overly powerful. It does what I need it to, little more, and no less.

Teclado con poca visibilidad, WiFi lento, garantía incompleta – no recomendable
Compré esta laptop en 2022, para remplazar mi ASUS X510U Vivobook Intel 5 de 8va generación, adquirida en el 2019. Estos son los problemas que tuve:WiFi lento:La primera decepción fue al correr SpeedTest con WiFi – mi vieja ASUS era mas rapida! (ver foto anexa).Posteriormente, instalé un Tp-Link Mesh WiFi 6 para aprovechar mi Internet en fibra optica de 1 Gbps. Mi smartphone Google Pixel 7 supera los 800 Mbps, mientras que mi laptop HP no pasa de 300 Mbps. Esta laptop HP tiene WiFi 5, no el nuevo WiFi 6, lo que es parte del problema.Teclado:Enviada desde USA, el teclado es en inglés (sin ñ), y sin acentos. Pero el problema mayor es que las teclas son color plata con acabado brillante (glossy) con letras y numeros en gris, por lo que hay muy poco contraste, y el teclado es muy difícil de ver en distintas condiciones de luz. Inclusive la misma luz de la pantalla se refleja en el teclado, dificultando identificar las teclas. No entiendo como a los diseñadores se les ocurrió hacer algo así. El teclado tiene retroiluminación, pero solamente ayuda en la noche cuando hay poca luz. Además, en el ángulo normal de trabajo en el escritorio, se ve la luz abajo de las teclas.Cámara Web:Es HD de 720p, pero no tiene buena sensibilidad a la luz. La imagen se ve borrosa si no tienes bastante iluminación. Utilizo mejor una cámara web externa genérica de $50 dólares, que no requiere tanta luz para dar una buena imagen.Garantía y otros detalles:Cuando recibí la laptop, de inmediato la registré en el portal de HP, encontrando que solamente le quedaban 9 meses de garantía en lugar de 12. Intenté arreglarlo con HP sin éxito. De cualquier modo, HP no valida garantías en México, de equipos adquiridos en USA.Siendo la laptop de importación, no cuenta con factura CFDI, y no es deducible de impuestos.En resumen, no recomiendo esta laptop, a menos que requieras pantalla de 17″. Acabo de comprar una ASUS en México, de teclas negras con números y letras en blanco, Wifi 6, y la HP la pondré a la venta.
