Back light Grey wash
What I liked was how good it sounded on paper…What makes this a 3 star is the fact it has back light bleed fairly bad. There’s a wash of Grey over ther entire screen. Making any images seem washed out. Crazy for a 1.07B color.😫You can tweak it a bit. But it’s hard to get rid of this issueAnd the ghosting it pretty bad. Even once extreme refreshing is enabled in the screen menu. It became worse.I believe this monitor is functioning as intended… which makes me a bit disappointed.It does work. And it’s a nice size. You can game on this monitor. But there is way better out there. Don’t use VA pannels. There’s color shifting as well, the white in the center won’t be the same white near the sides.

Good BUSINESS monitor
Keep your expectations tempered and realize that this is NOT a gaming monitor, but it’s great for most other work. The primary difference between this monitor and a similar, $600 Dell I use at work is that blacks are NOT black here; they’re dark gray. I haven’t had any issues even with some pretty advanced photo editing, but this is NOT a monitor for graphic professionals. If your work requires perfectly accurate colors for photo or video editing, buy something else (that costs at least twice as much).But for normal, non-graphic-professional uses — including photo editing and light gaming — this is a great buy for the price ($299 is what I paid). Text is extremely clear, videos look great, and I had no issues on set-up; everything was plug-and-play out of the box.I DO wish it had a real users manual. Instead, the “manual” supplied (and linked from the Amazon page) is just a useless “how to hook it up” set of images that most vendors would be embarassed to include. I want to expect more from Dell, particularly considering the poorly constructed menus they include on all their monitors, including the expensive ones.One note: Despite it expressly not being a gaming monitor, it’s fine for non-AAA games. If (like me) you just play older games and don’t need a ridiculous refresh rate or perfect blacks, it’s fine.

Poor color rendering, returned instantly
I took a risk on this monitor, as it does not have any reputable reviews published. Unfortunately the quality was so poor I returned it after one day.The colors are so washed out that I found it difficult to use for simple tasks like web browsing. Text contrast was terrible. The anti-glare coating seems to also be an issue, it’s so aggressive that it unsharpens the image.I was directly comparing against my Samsung VA 32″ 4K panel from 2016, and my old display blew this one out of the water.One thing to note, the reviewers here complaining about the monitor not reaching full resolution, or full 60Hz, are incorrect. You should just make sure your computer supports 4K 60Hz, and you are using a compatible DP/HDMI cable.

Ok overall but poor color representation across the screen
It’s an ok monitor. Great size but the color representation is poor and actually noticeable if you have it side by side with a better monitor (and ironically this is being used beside another (smaller screen size) Dell monitor). Good for the money but don’t expect much on the color uniformity even across the screen from one side to the other. One corner of ours has the colors even more washed out.

Not good for streaming
I replaced my beloved, very old Dell 22″ monitor with this one. It is nowhere near as good as my old one. I watch all TV and videos on my desktop, and the motion blurring on this monitor is bad. Maybe it bothered me because my old one was so much better. l also notice less resolution–some pixels at the fine edges in photographs.If you just need a monitor for office work, this one is fine. The color seems pretty good.

Nice and Big
Out of the box, I couldn’t get 4k 60. Turns out, the hdmi cable they bundled held me back. When I got a good quality DisplayPort cable, i could get 4k 60. The screen is very bright, Picture quality is ok.I would suggest this monitor for those looking for a larger office display or you watch a lot of youtube/tiktok videos on your pc. This could be a good display for laptops.No built in sound. No HDR. For the price, I’m happy.

Good value but not the viewing
It’s the cheapest 32in 4K monitor in the market. I can’t complain about the price. But it’s darker than a normal monitor. It’s kind of greyish. Even worse, when I play 4K TV from Apple TV, it blinks sometimes. Returned it the second day. Will try IPS panel the next time.

Good overall value
We purchased 2 “like new” renewed monitors so we could and are very pleased. As a note, we did think these would come with both VGA and HDMI cable connectors, but just one cable of with both ends being hdmi were included. That is okay though, we really just needed one of these. Thought I would mention it as I was digging in the comments and questions asked to figure this out myself. Pleased overall with the quality and how well the monitors themselves work. They are not super fancy, but are a solid monitor to use with clear picture and resolution. (Note, we are not gamers, we have these for days when we need to work from home).

Great price and good size for dual setup
Ordered 2 of these for a dual monitor setup. Very happy with the Dell brand and these are no exception. Hooked these up using the included HDMI cables and worked perfectly with my docking station. Attached these to a dual stand and was easy to mount these to it. So far, the display is bright and the quality of the monitor seems great. Would purchase these again.

Excellent screen enlargement for my MacBook Air M2
It is a cheap monitor and it has not much to offer in regards of connecting anything to it except the minimal configuration but it gives a lot of real estate to work with and no flickering and most importantly anti-glare. The background illumination is not fully consistent if brightness is increased – so better stick with default settings. Overall very happy with it!

Viene solo con un cable VGA de estos antiguos, faltaba el cable HDMI que debería estar incluido y no tiene puerto DisplayPort. Además no tiene los agujeros para montar sobre soportes/ brazos de monitores. Un producto antiguo, incompleto, y con componentes que faltan. Dado esto del coronavirus, me lo voy a quedar, me daría verguenza pedir al transportista que se lo lleve. Pero muy decepcionado.

27 inch monitor is perfect neither to big nor small for working. I can split multiple applications and work seamlessly. It is also great for small places as it won’t take much space. Enjoying this monitor on my desk.

Monitor not functioning properly (poor contrast; washed out colors) way worse than my 12yr old U2412
Purchased the monitor for my office (CAD work). Couldn’t get the unit to work properly in all settings: colors always appeared washed out, poor contrast; non uniformities across the screen. My 12yr old Dell U2412 is far superior then the unit I had (see attached image with dark background to show contrast, old monitor is on the right). Conclusion: The monitor is not functioning properly and contact Dell support to get a replacement which should be straight forward, unfortunately that was not so.It took me 3 days (further wasting my time) of chatting back and forth and running a ton of further tests to convince Dell support that this monitor is a lemon and to agree to replace the unit with a refurbished monitor.Dell send the refurbished replacement monitor not in an original box, upside down and packaged so that the unit could slide. And promptly the replacement unit arrived broken.It is unfathomable to me how someone would work in the industry and package something fragile like a monitor like this.As working with Dell support to get to an acceptable solution is obviously impossible this monitor will be returned. At least the item is still eligible to be returned through the Amazon policy.This will most likely also have been my last Dell purchase. Shameful how Dell is treating its customers nowadays.

This monitor will NOT satisfy gaming needs. It is great for day-to-day in home or office tasks.The picture quality is adjustable and suitable for the tasks I mentioned. It does however get a little bit “murkey” while streaming tv/movies. You can ajust for this which does help a little bit. Over all, this is not a deal breaker for me, as I am not a gamer though I do alot of streaming – tv/movies. The brightness and contrast could be somewhat better, but it is OK for my needs. I do NOT recommend this monitor for gamers. It has a small “footprint” and does not take up alot of your deskspace. It is very easy to assemble. You can download the user guide and read through the “ins-outs” of operation and ajustments to this monitor.

I was very picky when searching for a monitor and was very satisfied with this monitor. This is beyond perfect for the price paid. Absolutely everything is great with this monitor. The color is on point and excellent, the brightness is amazing, the monitor is absolutely humongous, and the quality of the screen display is amazing. This monitor also features 10 different preset modes which are very helpful in customizing the display. The only thing that all the techy people should know is that this monitor can only hold a refresh rate of 30 Hertz. For me it is perfect for office work and watching shows, but for gamers that would not be quite likely the best.Overall the performance of this monitor is amazing and everyone should get one!

Buyers beware what you’re using the monitor for. Check Dell support prior to buying to verify compatibilityFinished a lengthy convo with Dell support. As a software dev, my monitor has been flashing when hovering over things in programs (my IDE). I initially thought this was just dirty power and got power conditioners and a Sinewave UPS. When those didn’t solve the problem, I contacted Dell support. Unfortunately I bought the monitor 40 days ago and used it for things they don’t support, so I’m dead in the water.What I’ve learned from Dell:Supported OS – Windows 8, 10, and 11.Supported Software – this monitor does -NOT- support “third party or non-Dell programs”.This monitor does -NOT- support video games. They have a “gaming” edition for that, they also have a “professional” edition which is expected you use for workHow do you check compatibility? According to support, the way to check compatibility of a monitor requires you to…* go to Dell.com/support* look for the text box “identify your product or search support”* type in the model number (SE3223Q)* select “drivers and downloads”* to view the supported OS. Select the drop down on “Operating System”The attached picture shows the monitor flashing briefly. I have a dark theme enabled so the color you see there is supposed to be reversed

le falta nitidez
yo no ocupo el equipo para juegos mas es para trabajo, por eso el detalle que le encuentro y que no e podido arreglar es que las letras en los textos se ven dobles o con sombra, no son del todo nítidas.en el caso de los videos o películas que también veo, de igual manera no tiene el brillo y nitidez que quisiera para disfrutar de una película, documental, etc.

Very good but adjust settings first
Dell web site said this monitor did not come with a VGA cord but it does, so I ended up buying one for nothing. Some reviewers said the image is not jet black but grey instead, that is because they didn’t adjust the settings. Change the display setting on monitor to “RTS” and black becomes black. Also, don’t use full resolution, on windows 10 scale it back to 1366 x 768 and enjoy bigger thumbnails and bolder characters. It works very well and picture is very good. No complaints.

Great Monitor
This monitor is bright, colorful, with high resolution (many resolution options). The refresh rate is lower at the highest resolution but it is super responsive and doesn’t strain my middle-aged eyes at all. I use the monitor all day for work. Not used for gaming but it seems like it would do fine, videos are great. I have it connected to a Macbook Pro. When connected through a dongle adapter there was a lag, but connected directly to the computer the response is immediate, the delay was in the dongle and not the monitor itself. I would recommend.

I was looking for a cheap used monitor online for office work/browsing. Found this one brand new for cheaper than anything similar used. Very happy with purchase, great value, does everything I need it to well. I don’t use it for gaming or movies or anything, mostly for work/browsing and it is great at that.

Nice monitor but issue with sound
I use headphones plugged into jack on rear of monitor – all I can hear is static, have tried getting in touch with Dell as there’s no contact details on Amazon for seller. Monitor is nice, not too heavy and good res. Just don’t buy if you intend to connect to headphones or speakers via jack

Very nice monitor and as expected, it is large. It was the size of the TV I was using previously for a second monitor off to the side but this one really is big and if you are up close to it, may not be the right size for you. If you have some distance, you should be good to go.My initial unit came with issues and would turn off and on. Going on sites that used 4K like Netflix would cause it to turn off until I switched it off and then the picture would come back. I had to do this each time…until it stopped working altogether, all within a span of a week. Rather than returning it, I wanted to get a replacement since I was able to get it at as a Black Friday discount and didn’t want a refund and have to repurchase it, so I went through Dell who had great support and quickly sent me a new one and a return label for the old one to be sent back. Now I have no issues at all.Really great quality video. Great if you are into watching 4K videos or just for gaming. Each person that stopped by over the holidays wanted to check out the 4k quality and were amazed with it. I had a friend who decided to buy it based on what he saw.It is a great monitor. I am using it with DisplayPort and it is perfect.Dell monitors are still some of the best and longest lasting I have used and my last one was a 24″ LED that is about 10+ years old and still going without issues. I just wanted something I could use for workouts, watching tv, gaming, school, etc on.I recommend it.

Excellent Screen
I bought a Dell SE3223Q (32″ monitor). It has a 4K screen which is of excellent quality. This monitor does have its drawbacks, and yet remains a 5.It is not a “Gaming” monitor – it’s too slow mostly. Its response time and refresh rate simply will not support Gaming as it deserves. (Yes, you can still use it for “Gaming” – it’s slow) Professional “Graphics Arts” practitioners will find that the contrast ratio is not definitive enough – although it’s probably good enough for most everybody else.I like this monitor.
