Great machine if you can catch the cursor
My number 1 priority was to purchase a machine with a backlit keyboard. This laptop filled that must-have. The rest was gravy, including the 1T SSD and touchscreen. The keys light up around the outline of each key and the label on the key so it is very clear. Perfect.The touchscreen was a fun addition, but it became invaluable when the touchpad started to wig out. For no reason, the cursor started jumping all over the screen and would not respond. Eventually all the controls for the touchpad became erratic. The double-tap on the touchpad would not respond all the time, the right and left buttons finally stopped responding correctly and instead at times both produce the right key menu. Very weird. I finally plugged in a mouse to use and turned off the touchpad. When I use the laptop off a/c power, I unplug the mouse and count on the touchscreen to navigate. Praying that continues to work properly since the touchpad is useless.I usually keep it plugged in to an outlet. The few times I used the laptop on battery power it seemed to give me a good amount of time on the battery.Once I bypassed the touchpad by using a mouse, the laptop is performing as expected. Fingers crossed.

Fast operating system but has some inferior hardware
While it is a very fast computer (which I appreciate very much), some of the physical features are disappointing; for instance, the power button did not have the light indicator (like the older models) therefore you have to search for the button in the dark, as well as the button is so thin and sunken you have to press more than once to power on.Another inferior feature is the keyboard, very cheap quality and my “E” button came twist. I tried extracting the button to straightened and one of the fixtures on the button itself broke off and cannot be set again, so I have no button in that place.I would have returned the laptop but had to leave the country for work and really needed a new system.

No backlit keyboard
The product description says this laptop has a backlit keyboard, but the laptop I received doesn’t have a backlit keyboard. My F5 key (which should have a backlighting icon) has nothing on it at all.

Keyboard backlight will not activate.
Laptop seems to be working well, except the keyboard backlight is not operational. Software seems not to be installed. I plan a contacting for early Monday.

Didn’t come with a backlit keyboard
I ordered this laptop with a few requirements. It checked off most boxes but didn’t come with a backlight keyboard, which for me is a need. I chose to return but other than that laptop was perfect.

My laptop came with a finger print scanner for some reason. I thought this was great until I noticed that it does not have the back lit key board it says it does…
